I rip all my DVDs to HD, they go into a single folder with all the VOBs and the main IFOs.

Outside of GB_PVR I can play them by simply selecting VIDEO_TS.IFO and away it goes (in zoomplayer typically).

Is there a way of doing this in My Videos plugin? I've told it to look for ifo but there seems no way of telling it to play in the menus, you have to select the ifo, it tries to look it up in IMDB or whatever then fails.

I'm sure I'm being dumb....please help.

press play on the folder, i think that will work (all my dvds are iso format). if you press enter on the folder it detects its a dvd folder (since it contains a VIDEO_TS directory), and you mustnt have any info for it stored in the database, so it tries a best effort lookup (since enter= infoscreen). the best thing to do is to do a imdb lookup on the movie, and get the info, so the next time you press enter on it, it will take you to the dvd info screen.

Thanks, I'll try play on the folder - but I'm having problems with that (another post!).

I don't have a VIDEO_TS directory, I have :-

x:\movies
x:\movies\raiders of the lost ark
x:\movies\raiders of the last ark\VIDEO_TS.IFO
" \VTS_01_0.VOB etc

oh, weird. i only made it work with .iso or VIDEO_TS dirs, since those are the only two ways of ripping a dvd inside of gbpvr.

OK, so if I add another directory within my film directory called VIDEO_TS it should all work ok? I'll try that.

I never bothered with VIDEO_TS as it serves no purpose for me.

yeah its pointless to have from a file structure point of view, but its easy to test if its a dvd directory. i use the same test for normal dvds
if(Directory.Exists(dir+"VIDEO_TS"))
playDVDFromDirectory(dir);

OK, thanks. I'll try and knock up a quick script to run mkdir's for me :-)
