Recording naming

Being on the subject, the Film naming worked fine, but I disabled it because there was not recording date&time included in the file name : "Ce.quil.faut.pour.vivre.(2008).ts".

There are some new options at Settings --> Recordings and then File Naming. I suspect that NextPVR is attempting to series and episode numbers to the filename.

With the new naming scheme, the recording files don't have unique names. What happens when a show is rerun? Does it overwrite the older file, give it a index number or does it just ignore it?

It'll append extra stuff to the filename if it's not unique and the filename already exists.

If you've got a good EPG, and 'don't record duplicates' enabled, this usually wouldn't get this far though.
