Great, sorry for hijacking the thread :o

I have a 'funny' problem on the machine running NPVR. If I instruct the program to do a manual recording via the web-interface, the month and day numbers are switched around. Ie: if I choose today - the 8'th of June in the calendar that pops up, it is interpreted by the web-interface as the 6'th of August - and the recording fails!!
I wish I could enter the settings menu in the web interface to check things, but I need a username and password. Do any of you know what to put in these fields?
Regards

No, I've never been to the wiki page, you mention. Do I create an account there, and then I can use it for the web-interface?

I have read the web page for you and it says ... " Username / Password ... Set the login details that will be requested by the web server when accessing configuration options and settings remotely." Big Grin

Maybe we're just not supposed to change anything in the settings there?!
I have installed the NextPVR program on 2 computers, and they behave the same. It's probably got something to do with the Danish way of writing a date, that clashes with the English way. We use DD/MM/YYYY. I believe that in the GB you use MM/DD/YYYY? Perhaps if I somehow were to change how my Danish Windows 7 interprets those dates, it would work??

I did a little experiment: I set my date settings for Windows on one of my computers the way the Yanks like it: M/D/YYYY, but it made absolutely no difference at all. Any suggestions? :-)

Well, it seems that my problem concerning manual recording and the time and date issues when using the NEWA web-interface have now been solved. Whenever I TRY using the calendar, that pops up in the Manual Recording window everything goes badly wrong - unless the numbers for day and month are identical - ie. 6/6, 7/7 and so on. The number for the month is taken to mean the number of the day and vice versa, when I click the Done button.

BUT if I just key in the values for date and time - never bothering to use the calendar, there is no problem and I can make recordings - no problem. So if I want to record something the same day, I don't even have to key in the date, but can just put 6:00 pm - or 18:00 if I want to use my preferred way of writing the time. Both formats work. And if I want to make a recording sometime in the future - say on June 20th at 18:00, I just key in "20/6/2015 18:00" and this works too.

Like I said: I have 2 different computers that are both running Windows 7 Professional and were both installed with the newest edition of NextPVR, and the formats for time are correctly set on both, and they behaved identically. So my guess is, that the programmer has a bug in his source-code.

But thanks for your responses and ideas.

Best wishes
