Timeline on client

Is the the timeline on a client machine(windows) meant to grow as the recording grows if watching while its recording?

I am sure it used to grow,
I'm not on the latest version will be updating this weekend probably if I get the time

When i skip it only skips to where the recording was recorded to at the point i started playing the recording

ok its my share path
i had it set so comskip works on rpi(kodi) with newa
network share \\Lounge\gdrive (time line doesn't grow)
local share G:\gdrive(time line grows but this stop comskip in rpi/kodi)
