Are analog tuners which use hardware encoding supported?

There is one thing that they both left out you will most likely need a HDMI splitter in order get a round the HDCP problem as I'm sure it will be on Comcast, I have to used HDMI splitter with my Satellite.
I don't recall if NextPVR has a Apect Ratio mode for Fill or 4:3 or 16:9 for decoder side of thing that may help.

FYI, NextPVR will allow for recording of HDCP content with the Hauppauge Rocket and HDPVR60, without the need for a HDCP-removing splitter.

Cool that good to know, I did just test it with HD-PVR 60 so your right.

I press F7 to set the aspect ratio to Fill and that corrects problems with 4:3 display of 16:9 recordings from an STB.
