I'm aware of the problem and will fix it in a future release.

Each night after the EPG update will scan to find all shows that match a season recording's title. For any that are found it'll schedule a recording. When you cancel a conflicted recording, it'll do the same thing the next night after the EPG update.

So then any cancelled episode of a season recording (regardless of conflict) will not get rescheduled? That will be great!

I'm having these scheduling conflicts also where I have to manually go in and adjust shows that I want to be sure to get. I've been looking at the recording.log file to see which shows ended up at a higher priority and which got deleted. Is there a better way to do this?

What determines which has the highest priority between multiple season recordings?

What determines which has the highest priority between a season recording and a CDK scheduler recording?

I can adjust the CDK schedule priority list for a CDK show versus CDK show, but don't see how to do it for these scenarios.

A) season show vs season show
B) CDK show vs season show
C) regular manual recording show vs season show
D) regular manual recording show vs CDK show


Is there a way to change and adjust priorities for these types of recording conflicts yet or am I just missing something?
