Approx a week ago, 2 channels (23.1 & 23.2 ) started displaying "Regularly Scheduled Programming" in three hr blocks in the Program Guide, instead of the normal 1/2 hr increments (I run the dvr as a vcr - no inet connection or EPG, just manual recording by channel and time). The other 27 channels are ok. The first time it happened, I wanted to record 9 - 10 pm on ch 23.1, but the "Regularly Scheduled Programming block covered 7 - 10 pm. So I waited until 8:50, and set up the recording, but got nothing.

Just upgraded from 3.4.8 to 3.6.6, still no joy.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Are your channels configured to use the ATSC EPG? If so, this is probably the data from the guide. You can set it to 'none' instead of the 'ATSC EPG' if you truely want no EPG.

Yes, all the channels are set to ATSC EPG - but the good news is that when I booted the dvr to check your suggestion, the Program Guide for all the channels was back to normal! Perhaps the fact that I had not rebooted the dvr after installing 3.6.6 showed no changes to the two aberrant channels, but today after a cold boot, everything was good. (Or maybe it was cosmic rays ... )

Also I was in error when I said that trying to record a one hour program from the three hour "Regularly Scheduled Programming" block in the Program Guide had not worked. I found the recorded program hiding in a "Regularly Scheduled Programming" folder under my default destination folder (doh).

Thanks again for your quick reply.
