The HDhomerun driver does have options for Virtual Channel Table Mode; Auto, Normal, Block, Inject TVCT and Inject CVCT.
However, I remembered that you earlier in this long thread suggested inserting ScanDropTime in config.xml.
Back then it didn't solve my problem 100% no matter how high I set ScanDropTime, and since I now clean installed the latest NPVR version, the setting wasn't in my config file anymore.
But now, with newer driver and newer NPVR, it seems to Work 100% with ScanDropTime=2500 like you suggested back then.
If I insert a smaller value, like 2000, I still get a number of channels detected as MPEG2.
Without ScanDropTime, as soon as channels are detected they are marked as MPEG2, and the scanning process continues to the next frequency from the ini-file. But with ScanDropTime the scanning continues for the specified amount of time, and channels will be detected as H264, before scanning continues to the next frequency.
So in the end I can leave the driver at default / auto, and just insert ScanDropTime in my config.xml.

Thanks for your never-ending support to me and everybody else. Merry Xmas, and look out for a donation :-)
