Can't play AVI

As I understand it should be possible to view AVI movies in the latest releses. But when I am trying, the movie doesn't start. It only stand still on 0 and you can't go back to main menu. Have I missed something or what could be wrong?

Its not possible via the PVR350, and only sometimes via the MVP, but otherwise should work. Do you have the correct type of AVI codec installed on your machine?

If you can click on the file and watch it in Windows Media Player, it should also work in GB-PVR.

I have hauppauge 250. Don't know exactly what codec I have but the avi file is working perfectly in Windows media player. I tried to install ffdshow, and now it works!
