Newer Version?

Good day...When I install NPVR version 4.2.3.181112, upon its completed install and initial launch I get a popup that says there is a newer version available. Is this an error or just something that comes up no matter what? Also, I have been reading around this forum and apparently there is also a beta 5 version out for testing. Is this available. Cheers!

Hmm, not sure why you got that message. 4.2.3 is the current release, so you shouldn't have got a popup saying a new version was available.

We haven't began testing version 5 yet.

There is a bug in the installer that I pointed out before in other versions. The master file does not include the date string in LastModifiedVersion so when that gets added for minor updates the string don't match.

ie

<LastNotifiedVersion>4.2.3</LastNotifiedVersion>
vs
<LastNotifiedVersion>4.2.3 (181112)</LastNotifiedVersion>
