Slow to start playback

I recently started having a problem where when I press play on a recorded show it takes 2-5 minutes to begin playback.
What could be causing this? Any help appreciated

Here they are thanks for the help. The system has been flawless until now and just started doing this about a week ago.

Ok so I figured out the issue prior to this I had been using nvidia card it died
and I switched to the builtin Intel HD Graphics 530. Put a new graphics card in
and all is normal.
What would cause this issue.
Literally
builtin graphics click play wait 3-5 mins nextpvr appears locked
graphics card click play starts playing within 2 seconds

The problem is else NextPVR will work fine with Intel iGPU for standard broadcast at least until h265

Weird. I just use built-in Intel graphics, and haven't seen any delays like this. Glad you got it working though.

I would look in the event viewer and see if that built-in was pitching any interesting errors. I had a case where a computer was slow to respond with 0% CPU activity that turned out to be a graphics card problem, and the only symptom was that it took forever for graphics things to happen. The driver was getting into an infinite loop and there were errors reported. Replaced the card with an identical one (yes, I'm the kind of person who has a spare everything laying about) and everything was fine.

Not seeing any specific events to npvr but I saw this. Maybe that is what was causing it.

I dont see anything related to npvr but did see this intel related maybe that was the issue
