Hi, I'm a very happy v5 user with Version: 5.0.1.200209

Every day I use grab to get a new EPG that is 10 days ahead
After that I set NextPRV to get the new guide and that works fine as well

Now with Corona my favorite TV channel changed the guide with more movies
But I don't see that change in the NextPVR guide

So I clicked empy EPG and update EPG and all is well for now
My question is if it can be automated like daily ?

It sounds like your script to get the guide is not setup to run with local system rights. Consider running the NextPVR service with your user credentials.

Martin, I don't think that he's having problems with the guide getting new entries. I think that he's saying when there is already an entry, but in a later EPG update the scheduled show changes, the EPG isn't being updated to reflect this situation. And the only way to get the new entries is to empty the EPG first. Back in early v5 testing, I was seeing something similar where some shows (specifically Rescue 911) were initially going into the EPG with a generic description and then later when SD was updated with the episode specific description, NPVR wasn't updating it's EPG entry with the new data from SD. I'm not sure that ever got resolved because I still occasionally get recordings with generic show descriptions. (I just no longer have the v4 system to compare against to see if has an updated description.)

You are correct BrettB
New EPG data is added properly but changed EPG data is ignored
