Closed caption issue on one network only

I run on a Windows 10 PC. No interest in using a phone or tablet interface, which seems like is required with knewc?

Don't know how Kodi is vs. something like Plex, which I tried back when I was evaluating NextPVR for my move from WMC. Really don't want to learn a separate interface, have to keep something else updated, etc. NextPVR uses my WMC controller and is easy to tweak for things like skip ahead / back, etc., and I'm comfortable with it.

I appreciate the offer though. I can dump out of NextPVR to VLC pretty quick IF the subtitles are necessary (British show, fast talking show, mumbling show), and it works fine for PBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX. Don't know if trying the same would give SUB any insight or not.

Actually knewc sucks on a phone or table because it isn't touch friendly. Kodi which hosts knewc runs on a Windows PC and you can autostart it into knewc with the NextPVR UI The UI and the keys are basically the same as the Windows NextPVR so they learning curve should be low.
