Server can't see tuners (?)

Been using NextPVR for a few months now, and it's been great.

recently, the server stopped recognizing the tuners.  When I do a "status", there is nothing - I'm using a WinTV-dual USB.  The WinTV app see the tuners and works fine.

the server GUI won't come up at all in the browser.

FYI, the 'device status' button only shows devices that are currently in use. It wont show devices that are idle.

You'll need to use the 'log files' button in the web app, so that the logs are flushed correctly. The main nrecord.log you zipped is empty.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like I might have a different problem then. I can't get to the web GUI at all for some reason, the browser is not finding anything. Are there any network settings I should check?

This may or may not be relevant - I installed a 3rd party VPN on that machine around the same time it stopped recording. i have since uninstalled it.

Nothing springs to mind. Is the service running? If you stop it, does the nrecord.log have a file size greater than 0 bytes?

Uninstalled, reinstalled, same problem.

Stopped service and nrecord.log is 0 bytes.  Nothing in there.

however, I do have one from a few days ago that I've renamed for safe keeping that is 16kb.  Enclosed.  Not sure if it helps. (hope I uploaded it properly, let me know if I didn't)

You could try stopping the service, and manually running NextPVRServer.exe to see what happens.

Wondering why the service doesn't startup automatically anymore.....?

It's hard to know without proper logs. I had been hoping you'd get an error when you run it that way, and it'd tell us what was happening.
