I'm using NPVR, by itself, on a desktop to record broadcast TV. Often it records a few programs but then tries another and fails after a couple of minutes. In the morning I check and NPVR says no service; I check task manager which claims Nextpvr service is running. I restart the service and it works (again for a few shows). It fails at about 1/19/24 ~04:00 (AM).

It seems like you you never addressed this issue https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=64514 or it came back so you still need to contact SD.
Sub will need to look into some code since it looks like NextPVR might be entering an endless loop in your case. Martin

SD never replied to me. I "fixed" it by turning off Express VPN whenever I did an update of the EPG (a little nuisance since not automatic then). It seems like SD doesn't like Express VPN.

All the logs show are SD related errors. Try and contact them again they are normally very responsive.
They like a fixed IP because too many pirates were stealing their data for IPTV. Martin

NextPVR can access SD anytime not just during EPG updates so it is best if SD apply their fix. I am not sure if the seemingly endless loop on this error might come up during the day too.
