Moving existing setup to new computer

When you created the recordings did you enable the option to create the separate metadata files?  If not NextImport (new version is called NextTool) will only have minimum metadata from the filename.  NextTool has an option to copy the data from the old npvr.db3 assuming you either don't run your old install after moving files or you have those config.xml settings in the old setup.

I have separate XML files if that's what you mean by metadata.

Otherwise, do I have all of the steps (and what they do) correct in my previous post?

Additionally, is there a location that has the latest NextImport/NextTool file and how to run it?

Sorry I got sidetracked with other things and forgot your post. Yes if you have filename.xml from NextPVR that will be easy. You have the right steps you just don't have NextTool because I haven't gotten around to uploading it. Are you setup and ready to switch? I'd make sure NextPVR was working first.

NextPVR is running fine but I'm almost out of space on the original recording drive

I meant you should get NextPVR working on the new PC and then worry about transfer the recording drive.
