I've got NextPVR Server installed on both Win7 and Win10 boot partitions of one machine with a Silicon Dust HDHomeRun Flex 4K connected.

I've also got NextPVR app installed on both Win7 and Win10, as well as on Roku Ultra 2020 (4800) and ATV4K (2019) and NVidia Shield Tube and Samsung S21 Ultra.

Three of the four apps work fine as far as connecting to the server, either Win7 or Win10 version.  However the Samsung S21 Ultra app simply does not connect. Tries and tries, but never makes any progress. Circle just spins, eventually resulting in a message about failure to connect.

I'm using 192.168.1.26:8866 as the server and my custom PIN. This is exactly as it is set up on the Shield, and it works there without a problem.

So something is not right with the Samsung S21 Ultra (Android 12) implementation I guess.

The support forum for the Android app is here https://forums.nextpvr.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=16 post your zipped NextPVR logs and we can have a look. What is the IP of your S21?

Thank you for the proper link. I didn't see it prominently when I was hunting for it. Anyway I will use that forum for future Android discussion, for both my S21 and Shield Tube.

I've PM'd you with the URL for downloading the log file ZIP. I'm not optimistic you will see mention of the S21's IP address (which is 192.168.1.18) because it's never really made contact with the NextPVR server. But perhaps there's something else in the logs which might be of value to you.

Thanks for looking at this.

Sorry the PM URL to the site is marked as a security risk by Firefox. Typically people just attach zip files to the forum. If you really must use a site, try a reputable one like Google Drive or One Drive but also CC sub. Again just use the forum if at all possible.

Really? I've not had any complaints from others for whom I've posted clips, samples, etc., over this past week. Yes, it's not Google Drive or One Drive. But it is my own personal site (actually hosted by Google) and uploaded-to using WinSCP and SSH (not ftp). I use Firefox and certainly did not receive a security risk popup and obviously accessed the site in order to COPY the URL for you, but then your FF may be configured differently than mine.

So I thought it would be simpler to use that method in this case.  But I'll be glad to just attach the ZIP file here.

Again as I said in my PM, let me know if these are helpful or if you want me to try anything else or send you anything else.

Here is what I saw.  Looking deeper it likely could simply be http but user have posted to too many dodgy sites over the years to waste time trying especially when using the forum is the best way.

I didn't see the any connects from the S21 so sub likely need to address that.  It might be interesting to see if uidroid can connect from it.
