Would you know it, the IR blaster stopped working again. That'll be because you had your old setup was configured to use the HaupBlast.exe from the v4 directory, which no longer existed, so it wasn't finding it. The path to HaupBlast.exe was stored in your npvr.db3 file in the configuration of your Colossus card.
It would have been a relatively easy fix to go into the Settings->Devices->Colossus page, and just update the blaster executable to be the correct path.
Quote:I gotta tell you guys, this thing works, but after what I had to go through with it, it's definitely a house of cards. Shouldn't be this tricky. It was only being tricky because you're trying to copy old v4 files over, and it was configured to try using files from your old v4 install. With a Colossus/HDPVR style device, you'd probably have been better off going with a clean install.
A regular digital tuner would have a smoother experience copying over the npvr.db3 from v4. They don't have filenames etc.
There are very few people running v4 these days, so not big deal either way. There is a good chance there are zero people running v4 with a Colossus these days
