Hi

I am a new GB-PVR user and have just installed the program. I have a TwinHan USB DVB-T tuner connected that does work with the TwinHan software.

I have downloaded the EPG from Bleb (UK) and that seems to be installed correctly.

However, when I click on the "Map Digital Channels to EPG Channels" button I get the following message:

"The Microsoft MPEG-2 Demultiplexer does not seem to be available on your machine. BDA support will not work without it".

The PC is a P4 2.8GHz running the following environment:
Windows 2000 Professional (5.0, Build 2195) Service Pack 4
DirectX 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902)

I enclose two attachments that might make things clearer. (Could not make attachments upload! - Sorry)

I would appreciate any help you can give.

Hi Sub

Thanks for that advice.

Unfortunately I am still in trouble. When I try to map digital channels to EPG I get two error messages.

1. "You will not be able to record or timeshift live TV until you install Cyberlink or Intervideo MPEG2 multiplexer filter". But I do have WinDVD 4 installed already - do I need to do something more?

2. "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check configuration". Not sure what to do now - I am sure that the device is not in use. The driver is Twinhan UDTTcap.sys version 5.1.0.7.

Any ideas what I should try next?

1) WinDVD does not have the filter you're looking for. Use the seach button, this has been discussed many times in the past.

2) It sounds like you have the twinhan proprietary drivers install, not the BDA ones.
