There seems to be a pretty good $100 deal on the TabloTV here https://www.gettablo.com/ for those North Americans wanting to explore OTA You get a dual tuner ATSC that works with NextPVR with basically a free OTA antenna and a good return policy if it doesn't work for you.
The advantage for NextPVR users is the audio and video is transcoded so it plays directly in the browser and some other platfroms without transcoding. The h264 video also is compressed so takes less space then tranditional mpeg2video. The downside to these devices is they don't currently play the mpeg4 video available in a few markets. They advertise free guide data but note that is only 24 hours.
I know many of you are considering ATSC 3.0 but do note that more an more standard network stations are turning on DRM so buyer beware.
