Sorry about that Martin, I missed that post this morning. I still have the old SSD with the old non-working setup that we were working on. I'll load it now and run your commands.

Back on the old config...
pi@NextPVRSVR:~ $ uname -m aarch64 pi@NextPVRSVR:~ $ file /opt/dotnet/dotnet /opt/dotnet/dotnet: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, ARM aarch64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib/ld-linux-aarch64.so.1, for GNU/Linux 3.7.0, BuildID[sha1]=5b12818f3ed9d1cf10a7b7448c1360c3dc67115e, stripped pi@NextPVRSVR:~ $

I'm not sure how to do this:
Get:1 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian bullseye/main armhf libssl-dev armhf 1.1.1n-0+deb11u4+rpt1 [1,600 kB]

Don't worry about that, that was to show the armhf.
This command pi@NextPVRSVR:~ $ uname -m aarch64 is used by the dotnet installer and the NextPVR to check for 32 bit vs 64. The calls in the installer for v5 uses exactly the same logic so it is strange things have changed I will need to install the 32 bit version to test. Martin

ok thanks. I'll keep this setup going to keep troubleshooting. It would be much better for me to ressurect this than to start fresh.
I am also running mysql on this same server. Not sure if that is impacting anything.

OK I found the issue the latest RPi4 OS https://lindevs.com/check-whether-raspbe...-or-64-bit so it just started with the May 3rd release.
Quote:With the latest Raspberry Pi OS upgrades, the 64-bit kernel is used by default, even on the 32-bit OS. I will need to fix the installer because both it and the dotnet installer use the kernel. These steps should do as a workaround, if /tmp/dotnet-install.sh doesn't exist rerun dpkg -i nextpvr-helper.deb Code: sudo rm -r /opt/dotnet Fortunately netcore 6 is fine 2023-05-05 18:53:17.507 [DEBUG][1] With environment: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/nextpvr/system/DeviceHost/arm32: Martin

Thanks Martin,
And thank you for being patient with me! The workaround above worked. I appreciate all your help and glad we were able to find an issue that can help others! Ryan

Yes thanks for you patience and my typos too. I hope to give an updated deb installer to sub later today. I'm sure other 32bit RPi users will need it too.
