NPVR Windows recordings folder cleanup....

I hope I'm doing the right thing; I don't know how to check.
I use Plex to play (also over the Internet) NextPVR recordings. So I use a bash script+cron to delete everything in the recordings folder. This works perfectly for me.
After reading the posts above, I concluded that NextPVR deletes all the metadata about its recordings it can't find. Is my approach right to avoid accumulating stuff?

This thread is about the meta files left on disk that you say you delete. If you mean the database entry yes by deleting the file on the disk, the database row will be deleted when it is scanned (not automatic though)
