Uidroid TV Guide view

Is there a way to change the view (aka Skin) shown on my Android TV box? For example, instead of showing 12 rows of channels in TV Guide it only displays 6 with font size adjusted accordingly.

You can a different skin for UI clients than NextPVR.exe but there are no config.xml settings for want you't want, you'd manually have to edit Guide.xml The default is 10 rows not 12 though.

lol, thanks Martin. I admit 12 was a rough guess as my wife is currently hogging the TV so I couldn't check exactly.   All I know is it's about twice-ish what I need so I'll try adjusting Guide.xml to 5 or 6 to see how it looks. Who knows, perhaps 8 rows might be enough to improve things just enough.

That setting doesn't change any of the size and font scale settings you will need to also adjust.

Yep, I'm just playing. I'd forgotten how much I hate editing skin files. I'll bring the Android box upstairs tomorrow and connect it to my PC monitor to save me running up and downstairs every time I make a change.

That's why only sub and Jaggy have the patience.

Testing with nextpvr.exe is much easier and avoids server caching
