No they isn't.

Sub wrote the one called Android client which has a standard Android UI which you can purchase on the Play strong. I wrote uidroid as an experimental UI client for NextPVR and it turned out better than I expected. It is free but you if you don't donate to sub to use NextPVR you have to uninstall it every 2 weeks. Because of the way I coded uidroid it became to hard to maintain, so it is end of life and will be superseded by yauiclient for Android not to far from now. The UI client interface has gone through some nice changes and it is what I use now.

Either way users should be supporting sub with donations and purcashing his app.

you and sub have done a fab job, i want to support but because gogole play is what it is i'd rather give you the guys the money.

i have multiple windows/android/linuxclients (linux server) 

i have 100mbits wireless so nextpvr is probably the best out there - as jellyfin transcodes and adds 2s to 3s ......

I really depends if you want sub's Android app, it needs the Play store license, otherwise I expect it is better to donate.

so if i donate via the the website.. the android port won't work ?

can't you do some sort of salt + hash that can be added to setting file?

also it wasn't two weeks but one week (well 8 days-ish) but thats not the point really.

I've got a 6s latency network path to live tv, that matters to me.... and thats why its fab

No only uidroid and yauidroid for Android later on. It's an installation check in the playstore process, the Android app apk can't installed on Amazon devices if the Play stored isn't installed.

To register your donation click the have you donated button on the web setting screen, nothing needs to be done for uidroid
