In the video section of Xrecord I do not see any videos that have the extensions of wmv. They show up in the other video plugins and play. Can Xrecord be configured to show these? I have looked in the XML files but have not seen any indication of where this could be done.

Thanks

I did not know that it supported wmv. Edit the skin. Search for avi. Copy that line and change it to wmv. The key is the two batch files are empty like avi.

I edited the skin XML in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\xrecord

the skin.xml file.
the only referance to AVI was this line.
<ConverterElement name="converter1" extension="avi" startbatch="" stopbatch=""/>
is this not for transcoding?

So I did not find what you told me.
sorry.

just add this below. It is for transccoding if there are batch files otherwise it just shows it.

<ConverterElement name="converter2" extension="wmv" startbatch="" stopbatch=""/>
