Well I've just about got my no sound issue licked (the only channels w/ out sound now are the family channel and disney which I suspect I can get by w/out).
I'm pretty sure I can speak to how to completely solve this issue w/ The Hauppage 150. There seem to be two issues at work, fine tuning and cable signal strength. The tuning I'm not going to worry with (see my list of channels I'm still having trouble with above) The other I discovered when I added a signal booster to my cable system and suddenly most of my sound was working.
Now to my question. Using the Hauppauge I'me getting good quality but when there's something white onscreen (Like a room w/ a white background) It just washes out the area of the screen it's in. Is there any adjustment I'm not seeing to help w/ this?
I figured out how to adjust it.
