Just got my new 500MCE and I'm LOVING The quality - thought I might miss the mpeg4 feature of the TV Walker I had but this new card beats the old one hand down - faster startup, cleaner picture and of course the dual-tuner. My problem is that if I set one recording up on TV2 it tapes TV3 (while reporting the filename etc for whats on tv2) - If I go into the tv listings, click a program on two and say watch - it timeslips tv2 - if I click the same program and say quick record it records the channel 3 program.
At one point I did have it recording both tv2 and 3 at the same time and I got them both but since then its been quite consistent in getting it wrong. I tried recording 2 and 3 and got the program on 3 twice.
I have media centre edition as well and thats behaving with the same channel freq's and order - but I have to say theres a few polished niceties in MCE but GBPVR is just so quick/functional/logical to use - mce is too cumbersome and having to use an external guide is a pain.
Good timing on the arrival of the card too - my TV Walker appears to have given up the ghost the day before my new one arrived. Also I had to remember to run the TV Walker everytime I rebooted my machine after an update otherwise I wouldn't get the audio right (got white noise like it was off freq).
