Hello all --

total noob here, have been using MediaMVP with Hauppauge's software for about six months now and SageTV Recorder to manually record programs. Got GBPVR up and running tonight and am really, really amazed at how good it is.

Have a couple of question re: MP3 playback.

1.) Is it possible to fast-foward/rewind within a playing track? If it's not possible with the core GBPVR, is it with some of the plugins I've read about?

2.) Is there a way to shorten the gap between tracks when it's playing all tracks in a folder? The pause seems a bit long.

Anyway -- kudos, this is an amazing program!

1) No, this feature isnt available. Its technically possible, but not an often requested feature, so I've never implemented it. Infact, I think this is the first time anyone has asked for it.

2) Unfortunately this isnt something in my control. The delay is caused by the Hauppauge MVP messaging protocol.

Consider this your second request for the ability to ffwd/rewind in MP3 files. This is one of my biggest gripes about the MPV. It is a feature that even the cheapest CD player has and it baffles me why it is not available on the MVP.

I sent a request to Hauppauge requesting this feature a few months ago and they responded saying it is one of their most requested features, so I'm very surprised nobody has requested it from your software.

Thanks.

Yeah I also would realy like FF/RW within a mp3 track. I listen to 80 minutes podcasts and its a bitch to have to restart from the start.

Other usefull request: Be able to pause the mp3's.
