Twinhan BDA Driver Installation

Hi,

i just moved to a new city and now i have Satelite TV instead of cable. I like GBPVR a lot so i want to stick with it and bought a Twinhan DVB-S card with CI Module.

However i cannot install the BDA driver for this card. The Twinhan setup.exe tells me "This driver is intended for MCE2005". I have Windows 2000 ... is there a chance i can install the driver another way and how ?

The Twinhan BDA drivers I downloaded didnt come with a setup.exe, are you sure you downloaded the right package?

I have Windows 2000

Is Win2000 compatible with BDA? I would have thought so, but I dont know for sure.

I have 2 BDA driver packages

one from the offical Twinhan and one from a link listed here. Both are Version V1.2.1.9.

The drivers from the Twinhan site come with a setup.exe. The other package have no setup.exe.

Both packages come with a THBDA.inf file. I tried to right click THBDA.inf and choosed install both nothing seemed to happen ... do i have to manually copy the inf file and or other file to a special location or do the installation in a different way ?

Try using the Add New Hardware option in the control panel. Use the 'Have Disk' option to select the THBDA.inf file. Sorry, I cant remember the exact flow through the Add New Hardware app.
