Is anyone else in Australia having issues playing captured streams from SBS and Seven through there MediaMVP when using GBPVR? I capture with Webscheduler using the cyberlink muxer and if I try to FF a capture the screen goes black and the mediaMVP crashes if I then try to stop it.

If it is only me then I'll look for other causes, if other people are having problems I'll send sub a DVD of samples.

I'll have to get back to you on that, I seem to have left the file at home. We tried to sort this out a while back but I was not able to email a decent size sample to you. My wife is starting to get cranky because the MVP keeps crashing on her when she tries to watch Home and Away so I decided I'd better follow it up or I'll never get any peace Wink No-one else seems to be reporting a problem with it so I thought it might be something specific to my system.

Apparently not all muxers are created equal. The problem I have been having seems to be some sort of interaction between the cyberlink muxer and those two stations. I installed showshifter last night and tried capturing using its muxer. Captures from both stations played without problem on my mediaMVP with GBPVR.

Very much so. They play a major role in the creation on a regular MPEG2 file, and all generate very different resulting files.

The cyberlink muxer I have used ever since starting to use webscheduler is from Kworlds DVB-T software and is probably a year or two old. Do you know if it is likely to change between software or over time. In other words are cyberlink likely to have updated their muxer or supply different versions to different endusers?

Yes, like any software they do vary over time as they fix bugs etr. The most recent Cyberlink mux I'm aware of is v5.0.0.1307, but I'm sure even newer ones exist.
