Made the mistake of upgrading to 1.3.7 (was hoping the HD-PVR 5.1 would work) and after the upgrade my PCH will not play any video. Any video I tell it to play including Live TV just drops me back to previous screen after a few seconds. Looked in the logs and don't see any errors.

Ideas?

You may find that you have to change the GBPVR recording service log on to a user of something.

I've been involved with all the beta releases for the past month of so (1.3.1 through 1.3.7) and my PCH hasn't had any problems all this time.

It is most likely that your interact with desktop option for the recording service has been turned off.

My Vista system seemed to need a reboot after the interact was set, as well.

I have never had to do this, restarting the recording service should be fine.

I am sure I haven't needed to in the past, either. But this time, I just couldn't get the video streaming going till I did. There are so many interacting variables it's a wonder anything works!!
