Running latest GB-PVR with Happ-150 and standard cable with ZAP epg.

A previously working channel (3) now records and displays as static. It is listed in the guide with proper program names.

In config, it re-did the ZAP epg hoping a re-import would fix problem - It didn't. (Although now the station is listed as channel 100 at the bottom of the guide?) One of the CONFIG tabs lets me edit the channel number but not key in (or see) the frequency to be used. Reading other posts makes me think I have to edit the frequency, but where?

Thanks

In the capture source settings is the list of channels associated with the capture source. Usually listed here is the channel number, but you can type a frequency in this field instead if you need to.

I had this problem as well and i think it was because I had tried out another PVR application at some point... It stems from the DirectX tuning frequencies being overridden. Once I found the solution, I kept it for future reference:

To remove all custom tuning frequencies...

Go here in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\TV System Services\TVAutoTune
Remove all values under the keys labeled TS0-0, etc...

Export that registry tree first just for safety.

hmm - I've never used anything but GB-PVR (Why the hell would I!?) I don't know what caused it, but it happened all of a sudden - maybe the cable company changed something.

I don't know how to edit my registry... Would removing and then reinstalling GB-PVR work? I lost all my setting when I deleted and re-installed Zap-it anyway...

I'll try sub's idea first - just edit number (channel) 100 and put it in the long version of the frequency - If I understood that correctly.

Thanks!
