Apologies if this is a dumb question,
But Im playing with creating a new theme and would like to change how the OSD displays (Transparancy , positioning, size , etc) . However there is no XML file in the OSD directory, just graphics.

Is it possible to configure this aspect , or is it hardcoded ?

Cheers

This OSD is mostly hardcoded at the moment.

What sort of things would you like to be able to configure? I'll see if I can add in a later release (its missed the current one I'm working on).

Hi Sub,

thanks for the quick reply.
The main things I was thinking of were, making the OSD non - transparant (It may be just me, but I find it easier to focus on something if It doesn't have a moving background)

Also I was going to move the mini guide to the top of the screen.

(Seperate point - Again I think Im devolving on the brains front, but I also can't see where you set the button text for the recordings and main menu screens)

Cheers

On the OSD configuration point. I'd like to be able to move the OSD to the top of the screen, here in Denmark a lot of programs have subtitles and the OSD get's quite unreadable when it's showed ontop of thoes. I like the transparancy though, so just being able to move it to the top of the screen would be nice [Image: smile.gif]

Also, the ability to change size/colours and font size could be usefull. [Image: smile.gif]
