Hi

As I didn't get an answer to my last question I'll re-word it.

Is it posible to offset the video picture relative to the skin position when displayed on a TV?

Thanks

not sure if it is what you mean but there is a plugin called mvp screen position or something like that, that allows you to offset the picture.

Again not quite sure if this is what you mean...

Do you mean you have overscan problems (missing edges/black borders)?

jorm, elite,

When the normal Blue Menu skin is displayed on my TV from the PVR350 S-Video it fits the screen perfectly with no overscan or black lines. When I play back a previously recorded programe the picture is shifted slightly to the right on the screen (15mm black line down left side of screen, on a 32" widescreen TV).

Hope this helps

Thanks

If you're using the PVR350's TV out, your could edit the config.xml and adjust the following:

<PVR350Width>640</PVR350Width>
<PVR350Height>520</PVR350Height>
<PVR350OffsetX>45</PVR350OffsetX>
<PVR350OffsetY>20</PVR350OffsetY>

setting these (in order) to 720,480,0,0 might be a good start for your TV

Hi Sub

I've already edited the config.xml to get the Menu filling the screen, but when I play back a video the picture shifts to the right.

It may be that what I'm seeing is a condition of the TV power supply and not adjustable from GB-PVR.

Thanks

Hi,

I reckon I have the same niggle as xsilvergs. Using PVR 350's tv-out, and adjusting the PVR350 settings in config.xml, I can either have a nicely centered UI screen, but with the TV picture is shifted to the right, or have a nicely centered TV picture but with the UI off to the left and a black bar on the RHS. Is there any way to adjust the two independently?

Been using gbpvr just a couple of days now and I'm VERY impressed. Keep up the excellent work!

I have the opposite problem with my MVP. I bought a new TV (a 43 inch plasma) and GBPVR looks great out of the MVP. The problem is that even though videos play full screen, on the MVP there is a black bar on the right hand side about 20 pixles wide. I have tried to shift the screen to the right woth the MVP Position plug-in and when I shift the screen furrther righ, rather than moving the right edge is simply cut off. The settings I have, which is far to the right as I can get the menu to shift, are

<MVPWidth>656</MVPWidth>
<MVPHeight>456</MVPHeight>
<MVPOffsetX>24</MVPOffsetX>
<MVPOffsetY>12</MVPOffsetY>

And, as I said, when I play back video the whole screen is filled.

Any suggestions?
