I Can´t configure my own XMLTV

Hello, I´m new create xmltv, and I have this problem, I try to create my own XMLTV TV SHOW, to add channels work fine, but in tv guide don´t show anything, anybody can send me a example file? this is my xmltv example file:

</channel>

<display-name lang="de">HBO</display-name>

Anything wrong? Anything I need fixed?
