whenever something is recording it says there is no tuner available and i can only watch what im recording or not watch tv??

is it possible to watch something else while recording???

One tuner can only be used for one thing at a time, so if it's recording, then you cant watch another channel. However you can watch what is recording, or watch something different that you recorded earlier.

If you want to be able watch a different channel while it's recording, then you'll need to a second capture device into your computer.

Unless your capture card has more than one tuner (or you have more than one capture card installed), when your tuner is being used to record something, you will not, of course, be able to watch something else via that tuner. So, if you are recording channel 5, you cannot simultaneously watch another live channel.

HOWEVER, you can watch something *previously* recorded, because doing so does not require the use of the tuner (this is simply playback).
