I have two Hauppauge 90002 PCI cards mountedin my PVR. Using WinTV2000 I can pickup all the available channels no problem. This has happened since installing the second card. I'm usig the latest drivers and latest GBPVR. After doing a channel scan I get "No channels found" etc but appear to have a ood signal. Attached is the Config.exe-native.log as proof. Any ideas

Steve

Unfortunately our resident 'dual Nova-T cards' expert (bgowland) is on holiday for a week or so.

What version of the drivers are you using? I seem to remember the original drivers didnt support multiple devices.

Using Hauppauge driver 23208 as posted by Chris May this week - I have just built a machine wih similar spec using the same drivers, same cards and same aerial connection which is working fine. Just baffled. Uninstalled, rebooted then re-installed but same problem. In their anything in the registry?
Thanks for your help

You could try setting <BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType> in config.xml. It might help.

Hi, i'm using the latest version of gbpvr and when I set the <BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType> in the config.xml I can no longer run the config, it crashes with:

Application has generated an exception that cannot be handled.

The config.exe.log just contains:

19/08/2005 23:31:35.968 VERBOSE [12] installDirectory is C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\
19/08/2005 23:31:35.968 VERBOSE [12] configurationFile is config.xml

After it does this it will not start up no matter what I set for the scantype until I completely delete the config file! Any ideas what could be causing this?

Just ignore me. Turns out it was wordpad doing something to the file!

Note to self: use notepad from now on!!!!
