Haupauge Remote

1st let me apologise for waht is probably a stupid question. I have installed GB-PVR and a few of the plugins and would liek to say that the software is great. However where I have fallen down is getting the Haupauge remote control to work. Could someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have tried it with the WinTV IR program both running and stopped.

Probably a page one error but it driving me nuts.

Enable the direct IR acces option in the configuration miscelaneous section. Then you can use the remote also when gbpvr is not in focus.

Otherwise restart the ir.exe program after having installed gbpvr. Check the file irremote.ini in you windows directory for a section [GB-PVR] and an entry GB-PVR= in the [Applications] Section. If they're not there, something went wrong with the install..

cheers for the info. I had re-installed WinTV after GBPVR and therefore the settings were not in the ini file. A quick re-install of GBPVR and job jobbed
