Multiple MVP's ?

I know what the hauppauge web site says for minimum specs. on the MVP, but who is using what PC powerwise to send x-vid to an MVP?

When it comes to divx and xvid, it does need approximately the minimum specs Hauppauge specify - 2.4Ghz P4 or equivalent. Realtime transcoding to MPEG2 is very CPU intensive.

The 'Shack has an MVP for $38.99.
Their holding it for me.

Since my video server will have to be built on a k7-750mhz proc. I think I will just go with mpeg to save cash.

For some reason I can only get one of my mvps to connect at a time. When one works, the other one just either rotates between - Contacting DHCP - and - MVP Bootserver - on the startup. At best it will get to Loading Application and a couple of times it has managed to get to the Contacting servers screen but just infinitly tries to contact.

I have changed that setting but for some reason I still can't get two to work. I have two instances of gbpvr.exe in taskmanager so I know it is loading them.

I believe I am having this same issue. Did you ever get it resolved?
