After update..guide is blank

Hi there. I know i had this issue before but it is still not fixed after: updating the supscrip. , re-installing, change auto-update to later time.

PROBLEM>>When I update the EPG it does so in a very quick manner; almost as if its skipping something (like the channels). When its done processing and receiving channels i then re-start the GBPVR and the entire guide is BLANK. This problems seems to be a sparce one by the looks of the forum.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS OCCURING??????

Same thing happened to me. I just installed the program to try it out because I really dislike the other ones out ther, and I cant get the channels to stay "enabled" in the update EPG screen. So, of course I can not tune into anything. HELP!

Do you use zap2it or xmltv files?

I was using Zap'its configuration settings. I have logged into their website and setup my listing. I have picked Local, and I have tried selecting just one channel, or all of them, it doesnt matter when I do the Update EPG it does the same thing, finishes quickly and when I go into GBPVR and I try to look at the guide it tells me to go to the configuration program and do the "update EPG" button. Which is what I just did.

I am using:
Intel P4, 1.7GHz
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
ATI HDTV Wonder
Indoor HDTV Antenna (that came with the wonder card)
Linksys Wireless USB connection (Internet connectivity works perfectly)
OS: Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005 (all MCE patches and rollup 2)

I have turned off the MCE services that normally are atuomatically started. (I tried both way - no difference).

Please, any help would be great as I love the GBPVR interface reminds me of Tivo, which I miss so much now that I have HTDV. I am using cablevision HDTV/PVR for the moment - and hate the software. Please save me from the evil cable company!

P.S. One other thing, while I was at a different computer I thought I would download the software and just try installing the software (with no Tuner card in my machine) just to see if the guide listings get updated. The same exact thing occurs to me on this machine. On the first connection to Zap2it it downloads the channel listing, and has each of them checked/enabled. When I click OK to get out of that screen, then edit it again to make sure all channels are enabled, it shows them unchecked/disabled. Just to be sure, I go over to the GBPVR program and click on TV Guide and sure enough it gives me the same message, which is the following:

"No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the "Update EPG" button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information."
