You need to download some third party software for creating your XMLTV files. You can then configure your GB-PVR capture source to XMLTV EPG source, and point it at your XMLTV file.

I'd back up your database first, then drop and recreate you capture sources. Its not really safe change the EPG source - you might end up with dupicate channels.

Create an UpdateEPG.bat containing the single line below:

gbpvr.exe -OnlyEmptyEPG

You'd need an xmltv grabber (see http://www.xmltv.org). The grabber is responsible for creating an XMLTV file that contains all the show listings. You can then configure your GB-PVR capture source to XMLTV EPG source, and point it at the XMLTV file produced by your grabber.

Dont do this if you're using the built in zap2it EPG plugin, it'll cause problems.
