Guide movie search

Does anyone knows how to search for movies?

I looked in another program that downloads the guide information from Zap2it and in the descriptions they had (movie) or (Special). So that tells me that the information is there, it is just how you extract it from the listings.

In GB, can you do a search for (movie)? Or (Special)?

This is incase you don't know the name of the movie.

Look at xsearch part of the xguide package. Setup zaptools to run nightly.

zaptools login password (zap)

hit ctrl-y to toggle to genere. You will see movie and special and a bunch of other generes.

Xrecord, CDK, XSearch, Rectracker, XGuide all in one plugin. You can disable whatever you dont want

Jorm,
After downloading the zaptools I was able to update the epg and see the information there in xsearch.

1)The Genere "movie" was not there and I know zap is including this genere. How can I see it?
2)How do I setup the zapimport to run nightly?


Please provide in details, i seem to be missing something here.

put the line
zaptools <zaplogin> <zappassword>

1) Does post epg runs after the gbpvr epg gets updates?

2)This is another software (Mytelly) that extracts zap database:

I was hoping doing a search for Movie and find all the movies.

I open the zapbd.mdb with access and I could not find the Movie in the Genere list. Is there a way to add it?
