Zap2it program listings are incorrect

Hi All,

I've been noticing that the zap2it program listings are incorrect for several program items each week. I have been trying to use the xrecord to set up a schedule for Avatar: the Last airbender, and I've noticed that half the time the show's listed as some other program.

If I check the zap2it.com (not the labs.zap2it.com) the schedule appears to be correct.
For instance:
Sunday 04, at 11:00AM (zap2it: Comcast South Oakland - Royal Oak - Cable B)
The listing shows a half hour episode of Avatar upto 11:30AM. However, zap2it.com listing shows a *1* hour episode of avatar upto 12:00Noon!

Is anyone else having such issues? any solutions? This really sucks because the whole idea of the pvr is shot if I can't get correct program listings.

They screw up Bravo all the time. I've also seen goofs w/ A&E.

All you can do is try another service, really. They can only do as well as the info they get. When it was happening w/ Bravo, I also noticed Yahoo had it wrong, too, so contacting the network may be all you have left.

Well this is a bit different. I'm talking about labs.zap2it.com vs http://www.zap2it.com. I would suspect they would feed the same data to me as they would at their website.

If you're using the new release v0.95.14 with the 'complete EPG reload' option enabled, it should show the most recent information as supplied by zap2it.

I just finished upgrading and tested the complete update, it still is showing incorrect details. Could it be that zap2it is actually sending incorrect info?
Is there any way to view the raw data received from zap2it by gbpvr?

Yes, they most likely are sending the incorrect information.

If you set <SaveZap2itXML>true</SaveZap2itXML> in config.xml, you'll end up with a c:\zap2it.xml after the EPG update.
