Hi,

Finally got GBPVR running like I wanted. Works fine for viewing and recording TV. But now I wonder...
Is it possible to view pictures on GBPVR (using my pictures) and using the tv-ot of a PVR350 card?
Is it also (not?) possible to view AVI's on this tv-out?
Or am I stuck to only MPEG1/2 recordings? Is there a "by-pass" possible for the hardware MPEG-codec?

It should work, but the pictures will probably look a bit crap.

There was some experimental support for viewing AVIs added to the latest release, so if you're lucky it might work. Please note, it'll require a lot of CPU, since it needs to decode the AVI video, then re-encode on the fly to MPEG2 video. I recommend about a 2.4GHz CPU for this.

The TV out can only show MPEG video.
