Compatibility question Dishnetwork / win tv

I was planning to use the win TV PVR-150 with my Disnetwork receivers but I just received my e-mail from Hauppauge and they said.
“we currently do not support those receivers using our irblaster. I have added them to the list of boxes we need to get codes for so they will hopefully make a future update“. any suggestions on what I should do? Totally new to all of this.

I currently have a 501 and upgrading to 811 and possibly a 510
They told me they don’t support any of these models. I have read in somebody’s forum that it did support the 501 and some ware else that they supported all the most current models and the 811 is very current. I already purchased the 150 and I could return it but most everybody likes this model and I like what I have read about it. My 811 should arrive in about 4 days I was hoping to get this up and running when it arrives if possible.
Can I just use a different IR blaster?
