User Wrote:Where did you find that fast skip box, in the Hauppauge software?

In gbpvr on the misc tab I believe.

anyone else find that RW is completely useless? I am just starting to play with gbpvr and found that any time i try to RW the audio and playback gets messed up. I changed the mapping on my remote for rewind to "skip backward", but still use the fast forward feature. It would be nice if you could configure FF/RW in more detail, like keep FF the same and have the RW do a 5 second skip back, and also have the 30 second skip back button available as well as 60 second skip forward.

I was excited about your "fast skip" solution because I too cannot
FF or RWD with the MVP but alas it did not fix my box. For the
time being, I'm using the excellent GB-PVR scheduling/recording
features via web browser but have resorted to going back to the
Hauppauge software for playback. It's ugly, but FF works. I see
a lot of posts like this in the forum, so I'm hoping they all converge
into a fixable bug. This software has so much promise but not
being able to FF is huge...

Try fast forwarding a then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Thanks sub.

I tested it last night with the short skip option
disabled, so I grabbed the log off my server.
The last log looked sparse, so I included the
previous too (attached). All I remember doing was starting a playback, then FF. Video freezes, audio skips. I tried a few other skip, rewind
buttons then give up and exit playback.

Please see attached.
