Whenever I have a show recording and I try to play it inside GB-PVR, it stops the recording. Is there any way around this? If not, will the issue be addressed in a coming release? Thanks!
- WinXP Pro, 2 GB RAM, 200 GB HDD, Core2Duo 2.4 GHz, nVidia GeForce 8800GTS, Hauppauge Win-TV PVR 350.

I can do this and the recordning continues without problem. I have a PVR-350, can't say anything about other capture cards.
I'm not always right

I can play it too but the playing stops when I get to the end of the mpeg when I started playing. That is if I start playing and I've recorded 10 minutes and watch 10 minutes it will stop. But at that point the pvr will have recored 20 minutes of video so I can press play again to watch the next 10 minutes and so on....

I wish it would just keep playing and stream from live when I catch up......

A similar but not exactly the same query - is it, or will it in future releases, be possible to start recording a program that you're watching on live TV instantly by pressing the record button on the remote (Hauppauge PVR350)?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Chris

Edit: Apolgies if this should have been a new thread - wasn't sure.
