how do i download pictures for certian programs

can i set GBPVR (or a plugin) to download a certain picture or thumbnail for a program eg. C.S.I

several plugins do this, which video plugin do you want to use though?

i want to use recordings and my videos

my videos will download the photos, but it stores them in its database, so you wont see them in "recordings"

The video archive plug-in will download images for shows and save them in each shows' subdirectory as a folder.jpg, which should show up in the built in recordings plug-ins as well. if you don;t want to run the video archive plug-in, it also includes a utility called gettvinfo that you can run to search for images.

when i run Gettvinfo.exe i get error
"22/01/2006 8:12:59 p.m.[2] Did not find base archive dir; exiting"
also can it be used on previously recorded recordings?

I think you may need to copy the video archive.mdb file into your main gbpvr directory. If used without the video archive plug-in, the only thing it will do is look for folder images for previously recorded shows. If yo uwant new images to be downloaded once per day you can call the utility from your postepgupdate.bat file. if you want the images downloaded in real time the first time a new show is reorded you will need to cinfigure your system to use the video archive plug-in.
