So MuxChecker keeps saying that I don't have a mux installed. However, when I run MS DECCheck, it shows that I have the latest Cyberlink mux installed (6.0.0.1006). I've used RadLight to try and re-register all of the video components of the Cyberlink video decoders and STILL MuxCheck doesn't want to recognize that I have a mux installed. Any ideas?

Are you sure you have the mux installed, and not just the decoder?

The highest version mux filter I'm aware of is 5.0.0.1307. The version number you quote above (6.0.0.1006) sounds like a Cyberlink video decoder that is installed with PowerDVD.

You are probably right. My brain is spinning over all of this mux/demux nonsense. Am I to understand that PowerDVD won't/doesn't install a mux?

Thats correct, it doesnt install mux. Mux filters are only really used for creating video files rather than playing files. If you use the forum search feature to search for "5.0.0.1307" you'll find a download link.
