Hello,

Perhaps someone can help me solve this problem! The forum did not give a clue how to solve the problem yet...

My installation of gbpvr on my epia M10000 with PVR350 is working fine, expect for playing the recordings. When the recording is finished (at least it looks like it's finished) I get a runtime error:

Runtime Error
Program: C:\gbpvr\GBPVR.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call

The GBPVR.exe logfile is attached! It might help I read... Smile

that's weird, I had this error for the first time ever yesterday but I think it was coming from the recording service.

I don;t think there is anything in this log. Have you looked at the other log files from this time?

Out of interest, have you just installed v31 of the enhanced webadmin?
I appeared to get this error after watching a recording via this interface.

I don't use the webmin interface and the other logfiles don't anything strange. But you can have a look in it yourself they are attached...

Thanks already

sorry, I don't know - there is nothing (that i can see) in these logs.

you said:
"My installation of gbpvr on my epia M10000 with PVR350 is working fine, expect for playing the recordings. When the recording is finished (at least it looks like it's finished) I get a runtime error:"

do you mean that that error pops up when the recording finishes or when you finish watching it? If the later, does it do this every time?

BTW: search the forums for epia M10000. Whilst on paper the Epia + the 350 seems like a perfect combo, some users have found it rather too slow.

I cant think of any specific reason you'd be getting this, and you logs dont show a cause. It may even be occurring in one th directshow components on your machine, so probably worth trying a different decoders to see if it helps.

The error occurs when the recording has finished playing, not when I stop playing the recording!

This evening I will try to install a different software MPEG2 decoder and give it try again... you will hear about the result...

Thanks,

It seemed to be PowerDVD version 6 that was causing the problems.

I installed PowerDVD version 5, that is delivered with the epia in question. It supports the hardware acceleration of the epia chipset and this (seems) to be the solution. :p

I'd like to thank the people that have been trying to solve my problem...
